The diagram illustrates a process called “lithography” which is used for publishing a newspaper. There are six main stages in the process of the production, beginning with application of water and ink, finishing with dehydration of the paper via hot and cool air.
First of all, the blank paper is lifted up by a plate cylinder, followed by a drench of the paper in a dampening roller. In the next step, ink from the ink roller is deposited onto paper so as the impression cylinder applies the graphic representation to the paper. Subsequently, the paper, including previously printed images is transmitted to a system containing three rollers, through the process of compression as well as adjusting the ink, in order to ensure that is the most foolproof resulting production. The process finishes with the transfer cylinders by the cool air and hot air, so that its humidity reduces.
