The diagram illustrates the process of making honey in small-scale commercial production.
Overall, the process consists of two main phases : bee phase and human phase, starting with gathering nectar and ending with selling honey.
In the bee phase, there are four stages. Firstly, the nectar is gathered by honeybees. After that, honeybees bring the nectar to their hive which is contained by a small tower. Then, the honey is going to be dried by the bee wings operating like a fan. In the last stages of the bee phase, these honeybees stay in their hive to keep the cells clean.
In the human phase, the honey combs are gathered by humans and then the honey cells are sealed with wax in a small wooden box. After that, they press the box which is contained by combs to take the honey in a metal barrel. In the next stages, the honey is poured into a sump tank, heating around 45 to 50 temperatures by a machine. Then, the heated honey is going to the sieve tank to eliminate impurities and solid residues. After being cleaned, these honey goes to the settling tank for 2 to 4 days after pouring to the jars to be transported to the market for selling.
