The given diagram illustrates the process of banana production prior to them being brought to the supermarket shelves for customers to purchase.
The banana production involves seven main stages starting from growing and picking them to then being delivered by lorries to the supermarket where they are then presented to the customers shopping.
Starting with the growing stage, the bananas are grown in the period of nine months to one year at twenty-five to thirty degrees Celcius. After the bananas have fully grown they are picked by the farmers while they are still green. In the checking stage, good bananas are kept and the bad ones are thrown away, next they are shipped while being kept at thirteen point three Celcius. At the resting stage, the bananas are placed in special rooms where they become yellow.
The lorries are then filled with the ripe fruit and transported to the supermarkets. Lastly, the bananas are presented at the supermarket shelves, waiting to be purchased by shopping customers.
