The diagrams below illustrate the layout of a health centre in 2005 (Plan A) and how it looks at present (Plan B).
On the whole, it is evident that the health centre has been improved and made larger compared to 2005. While some parts like the entrance and physiotherapy room have stayed the same, new areas such as a minor operations room, a children’s play area, and an extra consulting room have been added. The car park has also been expanded to hold more cars. These changes show that the centre has been updated to serve more patients and provide better services.
In 2005, the health centre had a simple layout. The entrance led to a reception desk and seating area in the middle. There were three consulting rooms (CR1, CR2, and CR3) on the right and at the bottom of the building. The office was located on the left side, and a physiotherapy room was placed at the top of the plan. Outside, there was a small car parking area with spaces for 12 vehicles, with a garden surrounding the building.
In the present day, the centre has been expanded and redesigned. A fourth consulting room (CR4) has been added next to the physiotherapy room. A new minor operations room has been built in the top-left corner, replacing part of the garden. The office has been slightly moved to make space for a new children’s play area near the entrance. The seating area now remains in the middle but appears larger. Additionally, the car park has been extended to hold 30 cars, showing a clear increase in capacity.
