The two maps compare changes which have taken place in Felixstone from 1967 to 2001.
Overall, over the time period, Felixstone was transformed from farming and fishing area into a more tourist friendly destination with several large changes, including the removal of some facilities and the addition of new ones.
Looking at the changes in the upper parts of the maps, farmland by 2001 was totally reconstructed into an area, which includes swimming pool, hotel and tennis courts. In 1967 in Felixstone were several shops in both sides of the high street, but in 2001 shops in the right side were replaced by apartments and also shops in the left side increased considerably. During the period there were no changes in the golf course and high street.
Turning to the lower parts of the maps, the area witnessed dramatic changes, fish market, marina and pier were demolished and built public and private beach. Hotel rose in size because there constructed large car Park, near the hotel there was a café, which stood the same in both years. Also, be the 2001 there were added wind turbines, surrounded by the sea and dunes.
