Therefore, between 2024 and 2026 the price remained almost constant, rising slightly to 2500 dollars. The price of television was almost 1500 dollars in 2020, but it rapidly declined to 1000 by the end of the given period. Nevertheless, the mobile phones cost stood at around 1300 dollars in the beginning, and then grew modestly to almost 1500 in 2026.
Looking at payment preferences in 2020, almost 80 percent of people aged above 60 years old paid outright instead of choosing other types. This figure dropped steadily with age, declining to about 57 percent among the 40-59 group and to roughly 40 for 26-39 age group. By contrast, 40 percent of young people, aged 18-25 years old, preferred other payment methods, and around 38 percent of them paid by payment plan.
