As you can see from the image there is a life cycle of the silkworm. Initial process of the life cycle is absolutely moths produce eggs. 10 days after producing eggs ,silkworm larva will activate. Additionally , they consume mulberry leaf, and it will be source of energy for them. Then, it is the longest process of the cycle , 4-6 weeks silkworm larva start to produce silk threads. If you could see from the image they’re inside of rounded silk threads. After 3 to 6 days cocoon is ready. It looks like egg , and larva are already inside of the cocoon. Moreover , this is the termination process ,16 days after moth will birth from cocoon. Then ,they will repeat life cycle again as same as mentioned before. That is all.
So what about production of silk cloth? In the second image the process is very obvious. First of all ,we select the cocoon which is last production of the life cycle of the silkworm. Second of all , boil cocoon in the water. After that , we unwind the thread 300 to 900 meter. Furthermore , we will twist threads specifically and weave it. Last process of producing silk is dye the weaved threads.
In general , moth is the primary producer of the silk , and humans produce their products in specific ways.
