The bar chart illustrates data about the main reasons for working from home, the table presents information on hours which have been spent on working from home for the year 2019 either.
Overall, issue of saving money was the main reason for staying home for each sex. Whereas, numbers of hours which have been spent working at home was almost opposite.
As it can be seen from the chart, around 45% of men and 42% of women preferred to work distantly for the sake of spare money. Issues as increasing productivity and looking after childrens, applied only to only group. For the former one, around 24% of males decided to work from home to be more productive, while only 11% of females thought the same. The latter one show that only 4% of men consider it as the opportinity for easier childcare. However, just over 25% of women’s resort to this.
The table shows that only small pecentage of males worked under 10 hours per week at home, while 74% of women applied to this. Indexes for each sex in the group where people spent more than 10 hours, but less than 30 hours per week working at home were similar, 16% and 22%, for males and females, respectively. However, only 6% of women’s worked over 30 distantly, whereas for males it greatly applied.
