The given flowchart illustrates the process of applying uranium for nuclear power, beginning with the mining of the uranium and ending with the final fuel product.
Overall, fuel is obtained through six point stages, starting with mining and converting the uranium to a gas and continuing by using received Uranium fuel for delievery kWh of eletricity to station until spent fuel is stored in containers.
First of all, the process of mining uranium from earth goes first. Afterwards received product is changes into a gas, which subsequently fills up to create fuel pellets.
The Uranium fuel then is used in power stations field, aimed to deliver about seven billion kWh of electresity tension per year. After that fuel, that have been tested for about 4 years is taken away and then stored. Sometimes fuel can be reprocessed and only then re-used in the nuclear power station.
In the final stage, fuel that can’t be reproduced is stored in steel containers. Once this step is completed, spent fuel is buried deep in the earth and process of uranium use is done.
