The given diagram illustrates of how the system of water supply works at present time and in near future in Australia.
In general, it is seen from the diagram, that there are four stages in the whole, in the water supply process. Beginning with, the dam or storage of pure water, ending with flowing storm water, from particular places to the river.
To begin with, present water supply, the water is stored in dam, then pure water is transferred to cities, which used by households, shops and factories. Following by, the watse water from storage and partly from city is directed to the plant treatment of water, where it is collected. Afterwards, the consumption of water used in city flow straightly to the river.
Moving forward, to the future water supply system, we can see that, the pure water similarly will be storage in dam. Transmitting to the city again used by citizens for their staffs, the waste and storm water will be transmitted to the water plant treatment. In this place, the process will be slightly changed, where the pure water will be recycling and then shifted to the city.
