The given maps delineate how a small museum and its landscapes transformed after some developments from 1990 to 2010.
Overall, it is evident that a number of modifications had taken place in this area with the most prominent being the extension of the function room and the introduction of a new car park. These alterations reflect an improved layout aiming at optimizing space ultilization and better catering to the needs of visitors.
In 1990, this small museum was positioned in the north of the main road. There were two gardens lying in the musem’s area, the larger being at the rear of the landscape, however, the minor being adjacent to the main road to the right-hand side. Meanwhile, the car park was between these two gardens, and the path leading from the main road to the larger garden was in the middle. To the left of the landscape, the museum housed a store room and an entrance near the larger garden, an exhibition room, a shop and a cottage.
After two decades, the smaller garden was converted into a car park, which tended to increase parking capacity, accomodating the huge number of visitors. The long path was simultaneously narrowed down to make room for the extension of the amenities on the left of this path. Besides, the cottage situated behind the exhibition room and the shop was repurposed into a café shop, however, the remaining feature stayed unchanged.
