The charts illustrate the value of goods in Autralia-China imported and exported in the period of 7 years( 1998-2004) ,and the value of 5 different kinds of goods between 2003 and 2004. Units are measured in billion dollars

Overall, it is clear that the worth of both imports and exports were steadily increase through the span of 7 years, with the value of imports was always higher than exports. Moreover, most of the goods showed the increase in their value, especially telecom figure, which kept the highest value in 2004.

Looking at the first chart, exported worth to China in 1998 was 9 billion dollars, whereas the imports was nearly double in value with 20 billion. From 1999 to 2004, the figures experienced a steady increase, with the imported figure reaching 40 billion and exports reaching 30 billion in the final year.
