Overall, vegetables and fruits were the most significant products in terms of both water usage and income generation. It is worth mentioning that while vegetables required the largest amount of water, fruits brought in the highest percentage of total income.
In terms of water usage, vegetables and fruits were recorded at 46% and 28%, respectively. In contrast, while cereal accounted for 12%, lime had 8%. There were similar rates in the water usage for dandelion and rice, which stood at 3%.
Turning to financial returns, fruits generated the highest proportion of total income at 40%, which was 9 percentage points higher than vegetables. Importantly, the figures for cereal and liam remained unchanged, contributing 12% and 8% to the total income, in turn. Finally, dandelions represented 8%, while rice constituted the lowest share at a mere 1%.
