The supplied flowchart illustrates the marking system of national examination papers in some places.
This chart shows how individual sections are marked, especially these three sections -reading, listening and writing.
Firstly, students attend these three tests while they are sitting for any national examination paper. The Reading and listening tests are marked by an appointed administrator separately and then the marks of each of these two sections are collected and put together. Then they are examined and compared to ensure accurate grading. On the other hand, an examiner marks the writing test once it is collected. Then that respective writing answer script is dispatched to an examination hub. In parallel, the marks obtained in that particular section is sent to an administrator. Lastly, that answer paper is either stored or sent for reassessment if the student demands. This entire procedure demonstrates the importance of an administrative eye and also ensures that the integrity of the examination is maintained.
