The flow-chart displays the process of manufacturing sweaters in a garment factory in Bangladesh. Overall, it is a 16 step procedure that starts with Yarn collection and ends with the shipment of the produced sweaters.
As presented, the process starts with yarn collection. Afterwards, winding and distribution of the yarn will commence, then followed by the knitting of sweater panels. The knitting panels will be inspected online before the panels can be linked. After the linking, another online inspection will be conducted. The trimming will be done at the end of the second online inspection. The mending and light checking will take place, and if any problem is found, the product will be sent back for winding and distribution. However, if the product meets the basic requirement, it will be sent for button hole making.
Furthermore, after the button hole making, the product will be washed, labelled and ironed properly. The product will then be presented to factory quality team for inspection. If the product is examined and approved, the folding and packaging will then take place. After that, the final inspection has to be done before the product will be shipped.
