The diagram illustrates the mechanism of the self-operated photo booth.
Overall, this machine includes the photo-taking area and a control panel outside of the booth. In addition, it is specially designed for a single user, allowing people to take photos independently without the assistance of another person.
The outside surface of the photo booth has a control panel which can be used to choose the type of photos being produced. After putting coins in the machine, users can select what they want a single large photo or four passport-sized photos, with the former have both multi-coloured and monochrome, while the latter is only available in colour.
Having finished the settings, customers can enter the booth and adjust the chair according to their height. Before taking the photos, it is necessary to close the curtain to ensure the camera functions effectively. If customers have completed these steps, they can use the mirror above the camera to situate themselves at eye level. Then they wait for three seconds for the camera to send a flash signal, at which point the photos are taken. Finally, the photos can be collected outside of the booth after a one-minute delay.
