Initially, the users have to insert the required coins in order to activate the machine. Subsequently, they have to configure the desired format for the images, either a large one or four passport-sized photographs. Following this, users choose between colour or black-and-white; however, should passport-sized portraits be picked, they are automatically produced in colour.
Having completed the settings, those using the booth enter the booth and close the curtain completely so that external light is fully blocked. Inside, they adjust the seat height to ensure their eyes are aligned with the camera and wait three seconds before the light flashes. After leaving the booth, the users wait approximately one minute before collecting the printed portraits from the slot outside the booth.
