The diagram shows the manufacturing process of colored plastic paper clips in a factory.
Overall, there are two major stages in the production process. These are moulding and sorting the plastic, and in both stages there are supporting steps that help created the desired outcome.
The first step in making these paper clips is converting a molten plastic into red, blue, and yellow moulds. These moulds are then sent to the next step, which is quality control, where a machine is used to check the strength of the moulds. In this stage, while the paper clips that did not passed the test get rejected, those that passed will be sent to the next stage.
The paper clips are then sorted by hand to supparate the single colored ones from the mixed colored. After getting sorted, they go through a second quality control to check the color mixture of all the paper clips. And finally, those that passed the test will be packed and despatched to be sold for customers.
