the bar chart compares the rates of four types of transport used by people in European city in 1960, 1980 and 2000.
overall, the percentage of car using increased sifnigicantly, while bike and foot showed slight drop over the period, and travellers of bus made growth but then declined.
According to the bar chart, we can see that in 1960 the percentage people who travelled by bus was approximately 17, and in the next a twenty-year period there was increase to 25% in 1980, but then it fell to just over 15. The car was at the lowest point in 1960 and made up only 5%. There was a rapid rise of car using in 1980 compiling more that 20, and then in 2000 it stood at 36%.
Other interesting change is that, bike and foot decreased steadily, bike and foot had 25% and 32% respectively in 1960. however, following this both of them plunged to 20 and 17 percent corispondingly. At the end of the period bike stood at almost 5% and foot at 9% in 2000.
