The given graph illustrates comprehensive data on the average fluctuations in temperature for four distinct cities: Tokyo, New York, Berlin, and London, over the course of a year. The temperature is measured in Celsius.
At first glance, it is clear that all cities experience fluctuations throughout the year; however, Tokyo and New York show more significant variations compared to the other two cities. Tokyo peaked with the highest temperature in the middle of the year.
To start with New York, in January it has an average temperature of only 0 degrees Celsius, which rises sharply to 25 degrees Celsius before steadily declining until the end of the year. In contrast, Berlin and London do not exhibit significant increases in temperature, remaining on the cooler side throughout the year. Both cities’ temperatures do not rise above 20 degrees Celsius and drop to almost 0 degrees Celsius by the end of the year.
As for Tokyo, it generally remains warmer. The temperature initially rises steadily from 8 to 10 degrees Celsius, plateauing at 28 degrees Celsius in July, and then dropping to around 10 degrees Celsius again by the end of the year.
