The bar chart depicts the information regarding fertility in birth (per woman) in six Gulf states namely, Bahrain, kuwait, Quatar, Oman, S.Arabia and United Arab Emirates between 1990 and 2000. The data is calibrated in per women.
Overall, it can be seen that the all golf countries witnessed a significant fall in birth rates per women after a decade.
Firstly, in 1990, both Oman and S.Arabia had the highest number of birth rates per women which was around 7 in 1990 and decreased to 5.5 in 2000, while Bahrain and Kuwait showed the least number of births at around 3.5 in 1990 which reduced closely to 2.5 in 2000.
Secondly, both UAE and Quatar had similar number of bith rates per women with approximately 4.1 in 1990, that number decreased to 3.5 in 2000.The graph highlights a clear trend: fertility rates were at the highest rate in certain countries. Oman and Saudi Arabia, in particular, stood out with significantly higher numbers.
