The pictures above demonstrates how heating up in a house is being achieved through use of two ways which includes the pellet stove and pellet boiler.
In pellet stove ,hot water is used while for pellet boiler hot air is utilised for heating the house. There is hot water channel in pellet stove but no use of controls as it is in pellet boiler .However in both there is smoke stack and exhaust duct ,use of wood pellets and ash collection .
In the pellet stove has the cold water which is heated up in the furnace then becomes hot water which passes through the pipe channel .Within each room is a reservoir tank for hot water .Hence all the rooms are kept warm .For the pellet boiler uses fuel feed which is heated up and by use of the controls hot air is released through the combustion fan to heat up the house .As it’s in the pellet stove ,pellet boiler lacks proper flow of the hot air in the house as shown the diagram . However in both there is utilisation of wood pellet as the source of energy used to heat up the cold water as well as fuel feed hence producing both the hot water and hot air respective. Also the two has a way out for their waste products which are smoke stack , ash receptacle and exhaust duct , ash pan respectively. In pellet boiler there is some controls to have some measure of how much hot air is supplied to the house hence this is not used in the pellet stove.
