The two pictures illustrate changes that took place in a historic area from 2004 to 2014.
Overall the site underwent a number of dramatic changes, with the most notable being the development of a large residential area while a mountain range was demolished.
In the north-east, the top part of the forest was cleared to make way for the construction of an ancient stadium, and ancient lavatories were established near it while the rest of the forest remained. In addition, the mountainous area in the northern site was knocked down to make way for the expansion of the accommodation catering for the increase in the population.
No changes were made to the ancient temple, which was built for religious purposes, and the sea in the south-east area. Additionally, an ancient palace was constructed at the expense of bare land in the southern part. Despite some changes, the majority of the historic site was vacant land, especially in the center of the map.
