The bar chart provides data about four places where people had access to the Internet over six- year period, from 1998 to 2004.
Overall, according to the data given in the graph it is clear that home was the most common location, where people used to surf the Internet.Meanwhile library showed a slight increase every two years but remained the lowest.
Looking at the details, as regards home was the most accessed place by people, with slightly above 50% in the beginning of the year, after which the percentage declined insignificantly to around 47% in 2000 , which was followed by a gradual rise to 55% in the next 4 years.
When it comes to work, percentage of internet users at work leveled off at approximately 28% from 1998 to 2000. Later there was a significant drop about 10% in the Internet usage at work. As for the college , despite rising slightly from 20% to 25% between 1998 and 2002 , the number of users declined to 18% in the last year. Library showed a similar trend to college, only difference is that the figure remained stable by the end of the year .
It is important to note that the figure for home was dominating in the beginning of the year and retained its leading position by the end.
