The Pie charts demonstrates data of tourist’s foot fall in the country of India and the UK, the data recorded spans over a period of 15 years. The figures are presented in percentage.
Overall there is a gradual decline in popularity of the UK. Whereas, India on the other hand recieved a steady increase every year except for the year 2005, which had a minor dip.
The UK started off at 42% in 1995, which is the highest recorded figure through the years for the country. A major shift in numbers is highlighted in the year 2005, when the tourists visiting got dropped by more than half of it’s previous figure recorded as 32 in the year 2000, which turned into 14. Furthermore, there was a dip of 2% by 2010.
India, on the other hand gained popularity as a tourist destination from the year 2000, where it rose by 15% as compared to when it started at 20% in 1995. However there was a small fall in the year 2005 by 3%. To finally soar at the highest recoreded figure in the data, to 50% by the year 2010.
