The pie charts illustrate the percentage of tourists who visited to India and the UK in four different years from 1995 to 2010.
Overall, the UK had the highest number of tourists in the first year, while in the last year, it experienced the lowest proportion of travellers. By contrast, India shows opposite direction; it has the lowest percentage of visitors in the initial year, whereas in the last year, had the largest fraction of tourists.
Looking more closely at the first chart, in 1990, UK accounted for 42% of visitors, but in the following year 2000, it steadily went down to 32%. In the other remaining years, it gradually decreased to 14% in 2005 and 12% in 2010.
When comparing to India, at the beginning India had the least foreign visitors at 20% by 1995, and it significant rose to 35% by 2000. However, in 2005 a slightly declined to 32%. In the last year, country experienced sharply rise in visitors, accounting to 50%.
