The two pie charts illustrate information about travellers visiting India and the UK during four different years. The statistics are given in percentages.
Overall, there was a vast difference in tourism in both countries, but it is evident that there is a dearth of visitors coming to England in the final years. India, on the other hand, saw a boost in its travel industry.
With regards to Europe, it faced more than a third of backpackers visiting during the year 1995, that is 42%, however, India had a fifth of them in the same year (20%). Furthermore, approximately one-third of voyagers visited both India and the United Kingdom at 35% and 32% respectively in the year 2000.
Although the year 2005 showed a sudden downfall in the travel history of Great Britain (14%), the proportion of India remained constant in the year 2000 at 32%. This drop continued for the British Isles in 2010, bringing it to 12%, whereas Indian had a dramatic rise of more than half at 50%.
