The bar graph illustrates how long people born in 2018 in Japan, Korea, USA, and Indonesia live averagely and the accompanied table shows the rise in life expectancy from 1953 and 2008.
Overall, life longevity was by far the highest in Japan, closely followed by Korea and USA,while Indonesia was at the bottom of the list. As regards table, the growth in life expectancy increased considerably in Indonesia and Korea, whereas Japan and USA showed a minimal rise.
In Japan, the life expectancy for those born in 2018 accounted for just above 80. It was followed by Korea and USA, with people living until the age of about 78 and 76 respectively. By contrast, in Indonesia, people dies at the slightly lower age compared to other countries, which was 70.
Yet, Indonesia showed quite a different pattern in the longevity, prolonging by +15,7 years in life expectancy. Korea came second with +12,5 years. Japan and US, however, saw a minimal rise in the life expectancy, with the respective figure of +3,5 and +3.
