The given line graph and bar chart compare the average maximum temperatures and average rainfall per month between two Australian cities, Darwin and Sydney.
On the whole, the average of highest temperatures in Darwin is quite stable, approximately 33 degree while the figures of Sydney is significantly erratic. It is apparent from the bar chart that there is more rain in Darwin from november to march than in Sydney and less in the remaining of the year.
As can be seen from the line graph, Darwin experiences a slight fluctuation in the average maximum temperature. Commencing with 32 degree in January, this figure drops to nearly 30 degree in February and recover more to nearly 35 dergree in April. However, it continues to see a decrease in temperatures to 30 degree in July. Then, this data recovers and stays unchanged. Conversely, Sydney suffers a dramatically drop in average temperatures in 7 first months to about 15 degree. In the remaining of the year, the maximum temperature significantly increases by nearly 10 degree.
Regarding the line graph, although the average rainfall in Sydney fluctuates, the overall data is round 100 millimetres. In Darwin, the average rainfall from November to March is always over 100 millimetres while from May to September, there is nearly no rain.
