The statistics above provide the information about how many students attended to various course in a particular university in 2012.
Overall, the number of female student studying Social Sciences , Health , Humanities outnumbered their male counter-part , the opposite pattern can be seen in the figure for Engineering , Science and Maths except for Agriculture ,which showed a equal ratio between two genders. Among the list of different courses , Social Sciences maintained its position as a top performer.
Regarding the enrollment , securing the top position was the amount of student studying Social Sciences at 7000 students which is over 2 times the figure for Engineering. This was followed by that for Health , Humanities , Science and Maths which slightly varied from 2000 to around 2300 students. At the bottom of the list was the quantity of student enrolling Agriculture at approximately 500 students.
In terms of the ratio between women and men , 4000 females who study Social Sciences surpassed their male counter-part by more than 1000. Having the same pattern ,the figure for Health and Humanities are around 1500 female students roughly overtaking the males by around 500 . On the contrary , the number of male students majored in Engineering , Science and maths surpassed the females by the amount spanning from 500 to 1000 . While the figure for Agriculture showed a equal ratio between men and women.
