The line graph provides comprehensive information regarding the birth rates of two countries, of the China and USA from 1920 to 2000, coming sing, commencing in 1920 and coming to a close in 2000.
From an overall perspective, it can be observed that the two countries experienced downward trend despite wild fluctuations. Both of them showed fluctuation in the first half of the decade.
A closer look at the infographic shows that China’s birth rate stood at 10%, then increased to 12% in 1925. Following there was a sharp rise to 15% in 1935. After that, from 1935 to 1940, the fertility dropped dramatically, peaking at 1950. From 1955 onward, decreased moderately.
On the other hand, for USA, similar to China, it started at 10% in 1920. From 1920 to 1940, featured a considerable fluctuation. There was a sharp fall to just under at 5% in 1945. From 1950 onward on, it fluctuated gradually. And by the end of the period, this trend approximately 5% in 2000.
