Overall, it is apperant that the death rate will probably overtake the birth rate at around 2041. On the other hand, birth rates in New Zealand predicts to have steady decline approximately at 2055.
In 1901, the death rates began with nearly 8000 inhabitants in New Zealand, over the following 17 years, the death rates reached a peak in nearly 1918 with approximately 15000 natives, however, the rate fell dramatically with about 12000 individuals in 1921. Although, from 2001 to 2051 approximately there are forecasts that death rates will have gradual but, tremendous climb, nevertheless the figure will fluctuate between 2061 and 2101.
According to the graph, in the first year, the birth rate started with nearly 28000 inhabitants, while it was higher that the death rates in 1901. Birth rate grew more and more rapidly over the three quarters and marked a rise in 1961 which was the highest rate with about 75000 natives. In spite of that, the birth rate observed enormous fall around 1981. From 2001 onwards, the birth rates in New zealed expected to see steady fluctuation.
