The graph compares different activities taken by chidren in three age group as part of their bedtime routines in United States.
Overall, children in different age had a preference for reading than other activities in United States. Besides, with the age increased, children showcased less interest in eating during the period of time.
It is noticeable that 4-5 year old Children stood out with the highest proportion of reading with 70% during bedtime, which was seven times as high as that of eating. Besides, a percentage of 20% can be seen in terms of children aged from 4-5 watching TV, and 35% and 45% of them had a bath and brushing teeth respectively. There was a similar pattern for 6-8 year old children. Over 55% of them chosed to read, compared with that only 10% of them chosed eating as part of their bedtime rountine.
The majority of chidren who were 1-3 years old (60%) spent time for reading purposes and 40% of them took a bath during the time. In contrast, only about 15%-20% of them allocated time to watch tv and eat food. Besides, there was a proportion of over 30% of chidren in 1-3 age group can be seen concerning brushing teeth.
