The line graph illustrates data on the number of jobs in America in the 1960 and 2020. There were four sections of the economy; manufacturing, agriculture, retail, and healthcare.
Overall, manufacturing and agriculture were experienced slight fluctuation in the whole period. At the beginning they increased but in the end they showed decline. Another two sectors increased year by year until the end of the period.
In 1960, manufacturing was the highest sector and the starting number was 15 million, when agriculture showed 5million. Then manufacturing increased by 10 million in 1980 and it reached its peak in this year while the second sector fell to around 4 million. After 20 years it showed decline at approximately 16 millions and it was continuing until 2020 with around 13 millions. This time agriculture stayed constant but by 2020 it slightly decreased.
There are two sectors which have seen growth without any fluctuation. Retail and healthcare was roughly 3 million and 6 million respectively, they increased to 10 million and 5 million respectively. They continued with 5 million differences. However, in 2020 healthcare outcome retail and both of them reached around 16 million.
