The line graph displays information about the percentage of people who living in cities in four different Asian countries between over a 50-year period( 1970-2020), with predictions for 2030 and 2040.
Overall, it is clear that the propotion of Filipinos and Malaysian were the same figures at the beginning, while Indonesians had the least population.
Initially, both Filipinos and Malaysian individuals who living in urban areas started almost identical figures, to around 30%. Subsequently, by 1990, the figure for Philippines experienced unsignificant increase, at just under 50%. It then decreased slightly by 2010. However, it rose slightly at just under 40%. Furthermore, the figure for Malaysia saw increase close to Filipinos’ figure. Next, it rose substantially to around 75% by 2020.
Turning to the remaining countries, Thailand population was more dominant than Indonesians, at just under 20%. By contrast, both Thailand and Indonesia’s individuals showed the same population to roughly 30% in 2000. By 2020, Indonesia showed a dramatical rise, rising from around 20% to roughly 50%, while Thailand remained constant at around 30%. Finally, all countries population predicted by 2040. Filipinos will account for the highest proportion of nearly 85%. Other countries were less than 65%.
