The line graph compares the most sold items in a bakery for the year 2014. Compared items are bread, buns and pies.
Overall, in the beginning of the year breads had the most sales while buns were in the second spot. Whereas, while breads stayed as the most sold item at the end of the year, pies passed the sales of buns.
Firstly, in January sales of breads were about $80000 and buns’s were half of that. In the next month buns almost catch the sales of breads and continue to increase steadily until it stayed constant for 3 months starting from May. During that time bread sales had some fluctuations with a range of $25000. Starting from September the two item get negative corelated and while bread sales were increasing, sales of buns drop to $30000. In the mean time sales of pies started from $10000 in January and increased evenly and slightly until October when it reached to $20000. After that point it started to increase significantly and passed the sales of buns and finalized the year at $40000 level.
Finally, when the graph examined as total sales of bread stayed the same, buns had a little decrease and pies increased about 300%.
