Overall, there are more visitors who went to Cardiff at the start, then it had a marked decrease year-by-year, whilst the for Dublin it significantly grew annualy with its peak on the last period was higher then the other city.
In 2011, Cardiff had a lot more visitor than Dublin, with it having around 3 million of people, but it started to decline moderately in the next period. By 2014. Cardiff had less than 3 million visitors, Dublin, on the other hand, had a huge increase from the start, with it grew about 1 million more. However, after it remained stable for a year, Dublin faced a fall until 2017, as it fell to approximately one million tourist in the city, while Cardiff experienced a slight increase to around 3 million by that time.
After 2017, Dublin expected a sharp climb to about 4 million visitors in 2019, beating Cardiff. It kept increasing until it reached its peak in 2020, with more than 5 million of people visiting the city. On the other side, Cardiff had a constant decrease year-by-year, until the last period, it had only about 2 million people came as the choice to go on vacations.
