The chart and graphic shows the average cost of three kinds of cereal in England and Wales over an eight month period in 2014. It indicate how they increase or decrease over the months, the prices that each cereal had over the year and the quantity sold of each one.
Firstly, the cereals that are mentioned in the graphic are wheat, barley and oats, as it can be seen the prices per tone of the cereals were above of the 100 Uk pounds and under the 180 Uk pounds. Mentioning this, the cereal that had the best prices was the wheat.
However, there was a downward in the prices of the cereals, as it shows, in January the three cereals started in a good way increasing over the months, but between June and July the wheat and barley decreased, whereas the oats increased.
Secondly, mentioning the topic of the quantity of cereal sold in 2014, the chart shows that wheat was the most sold in the year and oats were the least sold, leaving the barley halfway between both. As it can be seen, the best month for each one of the cereals were; march for wheat, august for barley and march for oats.
Taking everything into consideration, it can be seen that wheat was the most popular cereal in England and Wales in 2014, but without leaving behind barley and oats. The cereals also had a similar way of increasing and decreasing, even though they changed a little in the last months.
