Overall the US utilized most Crude oil from its country, followed by that from Canada. Additionally, the oil demand witnessed a decreasing trend throughout the surveyed period.
Looking first at the figures from the pie chart, it is worth noting that Crude oil in America dominated others sources of 36%, followed by that of Canada, at 25% in total. Moreover, oil originated from middle east exhibited a modest value, at 18% compared to other oil sources. Furthermore, Latin America and Africa displayed a nearly identical statistic, with the former being higher than the latter by 2%. In contrast, other sources accounted for a marginal value, at 3% at the same recorded year.
Moving onto the remaining data, it is clear that the us oil imports underwent a considerable decline. Particularly, the amount of oil this country imported gradually diminished in the first five years. Then, this figure slightly climbed up to nearly 12 million barrels.
