The line chart illustrates the change of the exportation of Bangladesh clothes from 1988 to 2012, while the pie graph shows the value of exportation across six destinations in the last year.
Overall, the income was a noticeable increase in the general country, especially in the second half period. In terms of destination, it’s obvious that the highest price of exportation is the European Union, closely followed by USA, and distantly by other countries.
Looking at the first picture in detail, the clothing export in Bangladesh was a minor $1 billion at the beginning time. The figure grew gradually until 2000, then reached more than $5 billion in 2004. After a long increase in revenue in the following year, the clothing export in Bangladesh had shot up to a peak towards the end of the period, at $20 billion.
With the other pie chart, the clothing importation of the European Union to Bangladesh made up 60%, more than double the figure of the USA, which added up to almost a quarter, 24% – 4.53 billion. In contrast, the other three countries – Canada, Japan and Turkey, with insignificant supply, the respective of these countries contributed 5%, 2%, 1% in the total’s importation. Finally, the unspecified countries had 8% constitution of the Bangladesh’s clothing importation.
