The bar graph illustrates the number of jobs secured by males and females in six different countries (Australia, Switzerland, Iceland,The U.K.,New Zealand,The USA)in the year 1995 and 2005.
Overall, it can clearly observed from the graph that men accounted the highest in both years.However,the number of males increase slightly.In contrast, job secured by females were the lowest despite gradual grew.
In 1995,male employee rates in Iceland was the largest among all the other regions at nearly 71%. Conversely ,the smallest was The U.k. with 55% men. The number of males in Australia, Switzerland, New Zealand and The U.k. contributed nearly 60% and below whereas women in 1995, Switzerland recorded the maximum number of employees with 58% followed by The U.K. and The USA at 50% and 48% respectively . By contrast, New Zealand was the lowest at almost 25%.
Meanwhile,in 2005, employment rate in men showed gradual upward tread whereas, Iceland still remained the highest at 82% and the least was Australia with 69%. Women in 2005, Switzerland contributed the largest share with 78%.In contrast, the lowest was Australia at 39% in term of employment rates.
