Overall, while the quantity of coffee in the US, Canada, and Germany was considerably higher compared to tea, the opposite was true for the UK. Additionally, the amount of tea in the UK was by far the highest.
As far as the amount of coffee was concerned, Germany led the list of countries in terms of coffee imports, at 50,000 tonnes. The next positions were occupied by Canada and the USA, with almost identical figures of around 40,000 tonnes. With about 30,000 tonnes, the United Kingdom had the lowest figure among the countries.
By contrast, the UK, despite recording the lowest figure for coffee imports, led the ranking in tea imports with 80,000 tonnes. While the amount of tea in the USA and Canada was similar, at around 20,000 tonnes, that of Germany was recorded at about 40,000 tonnes.
