Overall, the closing prices of some selected precious metals have increased. Although platinum had the highest closing price initially, it did not stay the same. Palladium’s closing price has increased dramatically and consequently replaced platinum in the end.

The closing price of Palladium has almost remained the same between the range of 500 and 1000 dollars per oz. from 2013 to 2016. Meanwhile, between 2016 and 2021, the closing price has increased from just over 500 to around 2500.

Gold did not have any significant increase as Paladdium did, but it still increased. The closing prices of gold remained almost the same between 2013 and 2019 around 1400 dollars. Nevertheless, it peaked in the year of 2019 and stayed almost the same at the end of 2021 at approximately 1800 dollars. Platinum had an obvious decrease over the years. It started at around 1500 dollars in 2013 when also it had the highest price among the other metals. Then it had a notable decrease in 2014, went down around 1000 dollars, and stayed almost the same till 2021.
