The diagraph demonstrates the average length of stay for the previous year ( in days)for serious injuries for variety aged groups in private and public hospitals in Queensland, Australia.

Overall, people started to stay in private and public hospitals more when they started to become middle aged than young and old age ones.

To start with public hospitals, children who are 1-4 years old stayed around 5 days and this started to imrove gradually as they age to around mid 30s that was the peak in the graph. However, even it saw gradual decrease by 20 days till age 40, it started to rise again with staying days for 55 in the age of 40-45. After having peak in staying days, days of staying started to decline as they started to becoming old.

In private hospitals, the teenegers had the lowest staying days around 5-10 and this amount rised till 25-30 with 35 days which is the peak in private hospital. Then, it declined until 45-50 with 15 days and saw flactuation till 80-85. And in 80-85 years old stay 10 days less than the ones in the public hospitals.
