Overall, the change in prices of nickel was highest at the beginning of the year. However, it ended up lowest change of prices in metal at the end of the year. On the other hand, the percentage fluctuated throughout the whole year for copper and zinc.
In January, Nickel had the highest change of prices compared to other metals, at about 6% of change. However, the percentage dropped dramatically to -1% in two months. Moreover, the change in prices dropped slightly again to about almost 0.5% in March. On July, it bottomed out to -3% surprisingly. In contrast to July, the changes rose to -1% in the middle of the year and remained stable for the next two months. Nevertheless, it fell in the next month and rose again in November to 1% and remained same at the end of the year.
In terms of Zinc, the change of prices was lowest in January. And it peaked to 3% in the next month. However, the percentage dropped to -1% for the next five months. Additionally, between June and October the percentage remained -1% to 0.5%. At the end of the year, it rose to 2% and was the highest changes of price in that month. The changes of price for zinc fluctuated a lot throughout the whole year, where it was second highest in February, and fluctuated from February to July (1% to -1%). Moreover, it remained stable for two months and rose almost to 1% in contrast to previous month at the end of the year.
