The graph illustrates the change of average temperatures through a year in three big cities: Paris, Boston, Melboume.
Overall, two out of three shows similar changes: from the beginning of the year till July and August they increase; after reaching the highest temperature in the summer, lines start to drop down. However, at the same time, Melboume’ s changes are absolutely opposite – it reaches its maximum in winter and shows the lowest results in July. Additionally, while Boston demonstrated the biggest range of temperature, Melboume showed the smallest range.
The range in Boston was more than 25 degrees, while Melboume showed only about 10 degrees. The highest temperature among all three cities was shown in Boston, when the average temperature in August became more than 30 degrees. Nevertheless, the minimum temperature – 4 degrees – was also shown by Boston in January.
