The line graph illustrates the amount of three kinds of forest industry products (pulp, timber, paper) in tones which were manufactured in European country between 1980 and 2000.
Overall, the production of all forest industry products on the graph increased over the period given. At the start of the period, the pulp was the most produced good in Europe, however, paper which was the less produced became most popular product for manufacturing at the end of period.
With regards to the amount of pulp produced, it began at 6 million tones and then raised to 2.5 million tones in 1985 after reaching the lowest peak at around 2 million tons in 1983. In the following years, the production of pulp slowly increased reaching about 10 million tones in the last year. On the contrary, after the increase of timber production from 2.5 in 1980 to 10 million in 1985, the figure fluctuated slightly and dropped to 7 million in 2000.
With respect to last forest industry product, four million tons of papers were manufactured in the first year that slightly grew to 8.5 million tones in 1995, and this figure decreased to 8 million before the reaching twelve million tons in 2000, becoming the largest production volume for the entire period.
