The line graph illustrates data about four various kinds of connection: Post, Internet, Landline and Mobile phone between different aged people from 16 to over 65 years in the United Kingdom over a year period in 2011.
Overall, what stands out from graph is that, Post and Landline was popular in older people while Mobile phone and Internet gained popularity among younger generation.
To begin, being in touch through cell phones was the second most popular way for communication in younger individuals which started at about 97 percent in people with 16 to 24 years old. As people got older the trend decreased and for older people reached at just over 50 percent. Having contact by Internet was on the top for those who was under 24 at about hundred percent, and the figure dropped significantly and stood at 60 percent.
On the other hand, Landline and Post were both popular in elder people. They were around 95 and 97 percent, respectively in over 65 years. Conversely, these were the least popular communication method among young people, with rates reaching around 90% and 70% for people between the ages of 16 and 24.
