Overall, it is evident that at the beginning of the period jam with butter was recorded the highest figure while low fat and reduced spreads type of jam overtook its place at the end. In addition, margarine jam fluctuated throughout the period, and it was the least popular type of jam at the end of the period.
Looking at first jam with butter, the figure stood at just over 140 gr in 1981. In 1986 it reached its peak point with 160 gr and suddenly showed a dramatic decrease in 1991 at 100 gr with the same point of margarine and losing its popularity since 1991. After that period, it showed a downward trend and finished at about 55gr in 2007.
Turning to margarine, the figure started at just over 100gr in 1981, which was lower than that of butter. It then dipped, reaching 80 gr in 1986. After that, margarine experienced a sharp rise and eventually stood at 100gr between in 1991 and 1996. After 1996, it declined and by the end od the period, margarine recorded the least common type of jam with 40gr. When it comes to with the types of jam low fat and reduced spreads, it appeared in 1996 with well under 20gr and skyrocketed in 2001 with 80 gr, surpassing butter and being same gr with margarine. It showed a gradual decline between 2001 and 2007, reached about 70gr.
