The line graph presents the daily utilization of three various spreads per person between 1981 and 2007 in a country.
Overall, the consumption of butter received the highest figure and started decreasing dramatically. The values of margarine and low fat and reduced spreads were lower in the beginning but at the end of the line graph they started increasing.
At the beginning of given period, the value of butter increase. It reaches the highest number – above 160 grams – in 1986. Then the figure of butter begin to decrease and in 2007 it achieves approximately 50 grams per person.
It is neccessary to take into account, that the daily consumption of low fat and reduced spreads started only in 1996 and increased at once. This peaked in 2001 at approximately 80 grams per person and begun to decrease immediately. The number of utilization of margarine fluctuated between above 90 and 80 grams between 1981 and 1991. Between 1991 and 1996 it platuated before experiencing its smallest figure in 2007.
